Site information
Privacy.
Gauntlet is a pre-release game project. This page describes the information handled by gauntlet.run and its current public playtest tools.
Analytics
Current public pages offer optional Google Analytics to understand general site usage, such as which pages are visited and how visitors reach the site. Analytics is disabled by default and the Google Analytics tag is not loaded unless you choose to allow analytics. The preference is stored in your browser so it can be respected on later visits.
Newsletter
The development newsletter is provided through Buttondown. When you subscribe, the email address you enter is sent to Buttondown and tagged as a gauntlet.run subscription. It is used to send occasional Gauntlet project updates. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe option.
Browser storage
Some interactive tools save information in your browser so that work can persist between visits. For example, the Deckbuilder can save Decks locally. Clearing site data in your browser may remove information stored only on that device.
Playtests & rules feedback
Tracked playtest tools and the Rules Arbiter can send information you enter to Gauntlet's supporting services. Depending on the tool, that may include session information, questionnaire responses, rules questions, answers, classifications, and feedback. These records support the requested playtest or rules workflow and ongoing game development.
Do not submit passwords, payment information, government identifiers, medical information, or other sensitive personal information through Gauntlet playtest or rules-feedback fields.
Contact form
The public contact form is delivered through FormSubmit. Information you enter—such as your name, email address, selected topic, and message—is sent through FormSubmit for delivery to contact@gauntlet.run. FormSubmit states that form submissions are retained for up to 30 days.
Do not use the contact form for passwords, payment information, government identifiers, medical information, or other sensitive personal information.
Changes
This notice may be revised as the site adds or changes services, including future email, account, commerce, or communication features. Accessibility practices and known limitations are described on the Accessibility page.
